Our Story
Finders Keepers began in 2020 as a secondhand fashion and pop culture podcast between two best friends who met while studying abroad through Wake Forest University. Their conversations centered on pop culture, vintage style, and reselling clothes from their own closets. Over time, the podcast evolved into a vintage brand built around curated shop drops and pop-up markets.
Today, Finders Keepers is led and solely curated by Riley in Cary, North Carolina. Her background in studio art, sewing, and years spent living abroad continue to shape the brand's thoughtful approach to hand-picking the best quality vintage fashion. For Riley, curating vintage scratches the same creative itch as curating a collection of artwork.
She's drawn to pieces with personality, history, and impeccable craftsmanship. More than anything, though, sheās in the business of playing dress-up and encouraging others to do the same.

Finders Keepers specializes in curated vintage clothing, accessories, and home goods with a focus on premium, fashion-forward pieces from the 1960sā2000s. While every item is secondhand, Finders Keepers is intentionally not positioned as a thrift store. The brand is built around high-quality sourcing and distinctive vintage that's often difficult to find through traditional secondhand shopping.
More than half of Finders Keepers' inventory is sourced internationally through European raghouses and suppliers. This helps divert clothing from textile waste streams while providing access to authentic European vintage that's far less accessible in the United States. It also allows the brand to offer silhouettes, labels, textiles and tailoring that are less common in the American vintage market ā creating a curated mix of American and European pieces with a distinct point of view.
Finders Keepers also emphasizes natural textiles like silk, cotton, linen, and leather, which tend to be longer-lasting and higher quality than many modern synthetic garments ā a case made by the pieces themselves, which have already lasted 30ā90 years. Finders Keepers encourages a more deliberate approach to shopping: fewer, higher-quality pieces designed to be worn, loved, and kept for years, rather than disposable clothing made for a single season.
Sourcing, garment care, label research, and restoration are all part of the process, especially when working with true vintage that has lasted for decades. Finders Keepers values pieces not only for their rarity, but for the craftsmanship and materials behind them.
